Oprah Winfrey once said ‘Great communication begins with connection’.

She’s so right – and it’s exactly why, in all my work as a specialist communications consultant, I seek to ensure that you, and I, feel a ‘fit’ and an authentic workable connection for yourself or your brand.

Whether you want me to be your long-term virtual PR director for a global business with an existing communications team, or you want me to ghost write a biography, write your CV, inject some creativity into next year’s communications plan, or manage media relations for a set project or period, we should both feel that the ‘connection’ is what allows our relationship to pivot perfectly.

I’m a hugely experienced communications professional, having started my career in journalism. After many years as a regional news reporter, my world evolved into magazine publishing and national freelancing.

Not content with my storytelling love alone, I chose to test my business passion, by launching and building an award winning PR agency.

After huge success, working across names as historic and well known as St John Ambulance, and subsequently being tasked with establishing a PR function in Geneva, Switzerland, for a world-leading global shipping line, I’ve found my happier place in working directly as a consultant for brands and people whose ethos and objective fuels me.

I take huge pride and joy in being able to help individuals, authors, entrepreneurs, businesses, membership organisations, charities, schools, trade bodies, governments and healthcare establishments – and no project is ever perceived to be too small.

Aside from my communications work, I’m enormously proud to have become an outspoken campaigner in improving the mental health of others. In 2019 I founded Wednesday’s Child, a not-for-profit eating disorders organisation.

Whether you’re headhunting to fill a role, or seeking a wordsmith for your own discreet project, I look forward to hearing from you.
